Among a primordial ocean of stars, two innocent, identical children share a vessel. It comes to ground on a strange, liminal world, where a mischievous spirit appears, announcing itself as their guide on the nine-month journey ahead of them. Here in the world we know, meanwhile, a bereaved and pregnant woman struggles with grief and terrible uncertainty.
